Erin Hvidston

Manual Physiotherapist


Erin is a graduate of both UBC and the University of Saskatchewan with bachelor’s degrees in human kinetics and Education, and a Master of Physical Therapy. She was awarded the Physiotherapy Foundation of Canada Legacy Research Award and the University of British Columbia Physiotherapy Foundation of Canada Award, both for excellence in research. Erin has a passion for teaching, research and physiotherapy, and combines her skill set by practicing physiotherapy and teaching whenever the opportunity arises. Erin is trained in AN-IMS and Functional Dry Needling, has her Level II Manual and Manipulative Therapy, her FMSA/SFMA Certification and is currently working towards her Diploma in Sport Physiotherapy.. She was a TA for the Master of Physical Therapy program at UBC in the area of neuroanatomy and neurophysiology, and more recently was a Human Biology instructor for Thompson Rivers University. Erin further had a passion for running and athletics and competed at the national and intercollegiate level in track and field as an Academic and Athletic All Canadian. She currently is coaching track and field with the Penticton Athletics Track and Field Club, working towards her certifications with BC Athletics. Erin is passionate about keeping her clients healthy and able to do the activities they love to do. You can also find her outside keeping up with her boys and husband skiing downhill and cross country, snowshoeing, swimming, cycling, wake surfing, and just about anything that involves activity.
